We built the tool we
wished existed when
we
worked in petroleum.
GasCenter was founded by people who ran filling stations and watched money walk out the door through unrecorded sales, unmonitored stock losses, and messy credit books. We built the system that would have saved us.
Our mission: make every litre of petroleum sold in Nigeria fully traceable and every naira earned fully accountable.
The problem we saw
Most filling stations still run on exercise books and gut feeling.
We visited over 80 stations across Rivers State, Lagos, and Abuja before writing a single line of code. What we found was consistent: attendants recording sales on paper, managers reconciling at midnight, owners discovering theft weeks after it happened, accountants manually cross-referencing dip readings with meter readings.
Existing software was either designed for petrol stations in Europe with no relevance to the Nigerian market, or it was desktop-only with no remote access, or it cost millions of naira in setup fees.
There was a real gap. A locally-relevant, affordable, cloud-based petroleum ERP that any operator could start using this week — without a consultant or a dedicated server room.
